About Our Logo

The elements that comprise the Historic Events logo were carefully selected for their enduring symbolism, in the same way that we select the elements that create the programs that we produce. Nothing is taken for granted, but each component carefully selected.

The cross-section of the mighty oak tree that sits behind HISTORIC, symbolizes the strength, longevity and deep-rootedness of the company. The trunk is strong and gives in turbulent weather. Its branches reach out towards the sun, creating a far-reaching network of support. The Leaf that forms the body of the logo symbolizes renewal, expansion, creativity, and, as the leaves fall. the letting go of old ideas in exchange for new inspiration.

energy represents our belief that all that exists is simply energy in motion and that all things resonate to a particular vibration. Our role is like that of the maestro of a symphony orchestra. We set the tone (vibration of energy) that all the players (vendors, suppliers, and performers) will resonate to. We keep the vision alive and all the players in sync so that the result is a melodious symphony with no discordant notes.

spirit represents that part of the event that is unseen but felt.the "heart" of the event. Many attendees, in trying to describe being at one of our events, recall it as "the best event that they have attended", however, they can't tell you why. Perhaps it is through our intention, whereby we encourage high vibrational meta-physical energy. Relate this to the feeling you get right after a summer thunderstorm where the air is charged with electrons that elevate your senses. This kind of unseen energy creates a very powerful up-lifting effect when people of good heart come together to celebrate.
